Purposeful Parenting

So many thoughts have come to mind that I wanted to take some time before I responded. My main mission for purposeful parenting is to provide a strong foundation for my children. I believe that inside a home's four walls is where security, direction, discussion, compassion, cooperation, nutrition, fun and rest can happen. Being a purposeful parent requires time to be able to recognize what is needed when. Sometimes just being present in the home can provide security. Chores can offer an opportunity for direction and cooperation. Meals together are great for discussion, good nutrition and fun. Parenting is one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences there is in life and Project HELP is a wonderful resource that helps families along the journey.
